The global Islamic economy is measured in trillions of dollars, yet the certification infrastructure underneath it runs largely on paper. Application intake is manual. Audit scheduling is disconnected from inspector availability. Certificate renewals are chased by staff, one email at a time. And for exporters targeting GCC and Malaysian markets, supply-chain traceability is becoming a regulatory requirement with no digital infrastructure to support it.
What we want to build
- An online application portal — product registration, document submission, fee payment.
- Inspector workflow and audit scheduling that actually reflects capacity.
- Certificate issuance, tracking, and renewal management with a public verification portal.
- Ingredient-level traceability linking suppliers’ own certifications into one chain.
- Regulatory reporting aligned to JAKIM, ESMA, HMC, and equivalent bodies.
